Vlogging on Your Cellphone

Have you ever left home in a rush and then travelled half way to work, when you suddenly realize you have forgotten your cellphone on the kitchen counter? The responsible thing would be to forget about your phone and continue on your journey to work. However we can both agree that we would rather turn around, spending the extra money on fuel, as well as fabricating an excuse of why we were late for work, so that we have our cellphones at arms reach throughout the day. With the majority of the population attached to their cellphones, why would you not start vlogging on your phone?

Our journey started by firstly taking photos and short videos on our cellphones while on holiday in Seychelles and then Thailand. For our trip to Thailand, both Chantal and I had Hauwei P20s. These cellphones took the most amazing photos and decent videos with good lighting. With the addition of a selfie stick and a bluetooth button, we were able to create the most amazing photo moments!

On our Eurotrip in 2019, we decided to purchase the DJI Osmo 3 cellphone gimbal. This took our cellphone vlogging to the next level. As new vloggers, we were so impressed with the gimbal. From the stable footage, to the amazing features available on the DJI Mimo app. We continued with our cellphones through the start of the 2020 pandemic and then after some saving, we decided to upgrade our gear!
